Day 22 - Budapest

We had a pretty quiet day today, I was feeling like shit so I upped on sudafed, echinacea and vitamin c and went shopping for a bit. It was a miserable, grey day in Budapest but I wasn't that cold cause I was sick. As such we didn't do heaps, and my description of what we did will be short. Andy and I met Nerrille at the bottom of 'castle hill' which funnily enough is a hill with a castle on it.

We walked around the top of the hill which is a nice area and it also has residential buildings on it which I thought was strange, but nice that the space is still being used by locals.

It had started to rain a bit when we were crossing back to the other side of the river and we braved it for a bit before finding a dry spot on the side of Vaci Utca (the main shopping street). We stood there people watching over a warm mulled wine for a good half an hour, for me it was a nice winter moment...even though it's only autumn (but I was wearing a hoody and a jacket, so it was colder than an Aussie winter.

We had some food and a beer at another bar before going home. Everything had caught up with me so I crashed at 8 for an hour. Got up and chatted with Nerrille for about an hour before going to bed proper.
